At BookThatApp we provide a variety of customization services to enhance the performance of the app with your Shopify store.
Sometimes BookThatApp users operate a Shopify store where they need to capture more information from their customers. This information can range from names, ages, pick-up or drop-off location, etc.
This kind of modification involves editing your theme code. The below image was taken from a site that uses BookThatApp with the customization of accepting a student name and email address.

On this next example we customized the site to collect a parent's name as well as the names and ages of the amount of children indicated from the variant selection.

Option 1 - Enable the Notes
An alternative to code modification that would fall under a no-charge type of solution would be to enable the order notes in your cart.
First access your theme from your Shopify admin.
From here you can select 'Customize theme'.
Now you will need to access the section for your Cart.
In the above illustration you can see that the order notes have been enabled in the cart. Typically users that go this route will either include a brief message in the product description letting the customer know what to provide in the notes field, or by changing the fields title via the theme's 'cart-template.liquid'.
Option 2 - Add Additional Fields
If you have coding knowledge and want the fields to appear on the product page you can add the additional fields into the Snippet file named 'booking-form.liquid'. This will limit the fields appearance to just those products that you have imported into the app. Additional fields can also be added to the cart via the theme's 'cart-template.liquid' file.
If you would prefer for us to complete the customization work you can submit a ticket and we will reply with a quote. In your request please let us if you would like the fields added to the product or cart page, and provide the details of what fields you need.
