The Calendar Overview page allows you to see your existing bookings in a number of formats. You are also able to easily access existing bookings and create new bookings.
When you first reach the Calendar Overview page you will see the booking overview calendar. The calendar will display the current month in the month view format.
iCal and More Actions
The first option the Overview page provides is the iCal button. The iCal button will provide you with the link for your store's booking feed. Adding this to your external calendar will allow your bookings to sync from the app to your external calendar.
You can read the full details on how to sync your bookings below.

- Create Announcement: Allows you to create an announcement. Announcements are displayed in the Events Calendar.
Calendar Views
You can choose between the following types of display for the booking overview calendar:
-
Month: Displays a complete month.
-
Week: Displays a full week.
-
Day: Displays individual days.
-
List: Displays monthly bookings in a bulleted list format.
-
Schedule: Scroll through the full week where each day is broken down by the schedule you specify in the Operating Hours section of the app.
Calendars
Now that you have selected the calendar view that you want you can limit the calendar entries based on the source of event.
Your first option is the Calendars drop-down. You can select the checkbox for the items you want included in the calendar. Deselect the items you don't want to appear. If you have added an external calendar it will also appear in this list. Lastly you can add an external calendar by selecting the Add calendar button.
Filtering the Calendar
Now that you have populated the calendar with the sources of your choosing you can filter bookings using a variety of options. There are 3 distinct filtering methods that are available:
- Search
- Event types
- More filters
The following depicts the default view of an overview calendar using the Month view.
Search
You can search for booking items based on Booking ID, blackout ID, or announcement ID. To retrieve an ID number you would access the relevant item in the app and copy the ID number from the url. The ID number of a booking is outlined in red below.
The following is the updated Overview calendar after searching for the booking where we retrieved the ID number.
Note: after entering your search criteria select the Apply button.
Event types
The Event types drop-down will quickly allow you to filter on the following event types:
- Bookings
- Blackouts
- Announcements
- Clear
The clear option removes all selections. You must select Apply afterwards for the filter to take effect. The following depicts the same monthly calendar where only the Blackouts have been selected from the Event types.
More Filters
Selecting the More Filters button will expand the filter panel. From the filter panel you are able to perform a more precise filter using the following metrics:
- Event types: these are the same as detailed above in the Event types section of the guide.
- Product: choose a specific product to filter.
- Variant: if you have selected to filter a specific product you can narrow down the results by also choosing a specific product variant.
- Resource: choose a specific resource to filter.
- Location: choose a specific location to filter.
After making your selections click Done to close the filter panel. Then select the Apply button to update the results. The following depicts an updated version of our Overview calendar where we have filtered based on Bookings, the Barber shop product, and our staff resource named Bill.
Your filter selections are easily viewable beneath the Search bar. You can remove a filter at any time by selecting the X to the right of its name.
