SmartrMail uses Smart Segments to help you create subscriber groups based on specific criteria. These segments enable you to target your audience more effectively and are used as triggers when setting up:
- Automations
- SMS Notifications
- Newsletters
By leveraging Smart Segments, you can ensure that your messages reach the right audience at the right time, maximizing engagement and results.
Creating a Smart Segment
To create a new Smart Segment, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Smart Segment section of the app.
- Click the + New Smart Segment button.
After clicking the + New Smart Segment button, follow these steps:
- Name Your Smart Segment: Choose a descriptive name that reflects the purpose of the segment.
- Select Subscriber Lists: Specify which subscriber lists you want to include in this segment.
- Add Rules: Define the criteria that subscribers must meet to qualify for this Smart Segment.
Once configured, your Smart Segment will dynamically update as subscribers meet or no longer meet the set criteria.
BookThatApp Specific Functionality
As part of the integration with SM, additional options are available when you create the Rule for your Smart Segment.
When you open the Rule drop-down menu you will see a section named Booking. Here are the BTA-specific rules that you can use:
- Booking finishes after
- Booking finishes before
- Has purchased booking product
- Booking starts before
- Bookings starts after
- Booking starts in (#days)
