    What about adding more than one link list into the footer? Is that possible?

    To add another link list you would need to change the navigation-widget.liquid snippet (or theme.liquid for older versions).

    Existing code:

    <h4>Navigation</h4>

    <ul class="nav-links">

        <li><a href="#header">Back to top</a></li>

        {% for link in linklists[settings.footer_links].links %}

            <li>{{ link.title | link_to: link.url }}</li>

        {% endfor %}

    </ul>

    New code:

    <h4>Navigation</h4>

    <ul class="nav-links">

        <li><a href="#header">Back to top</a></li>

        {% for link in linklists[settings.footer_links].links %}

            <li>{{ link.title | link_to: link.url }}</li>

        {% endfor %}

    *    {% for link in linklists.another-list.links %}

            <li>{{ link.title | link_to: link.url }}</li>

        {% endfor %}

    *
    </ul>

    Hi,

    I recently purchased the Vanity theme and the above instructions do not seem to apply.  Perhaps the theme was updated again?  I do not see the Footer section in the Theme Editor, and when I open theme.liquid  I have a lot of different code than what you are showing here.

    Has this been changed recently?  Can you please provide updated instructions on how to edit the footer links?

    Regards,

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

    The footer settings were added to the theme May 12.

    What is your store address?

    Thanks, Gavin.

    Hi Gavin,

    Thanks for the response.  I found the Footer links in the Theme Settings, not the Theme Editor.  Guess I just had to poke around.  It was a bit confusing as you mentioned Theme Editor.  Anyway, figured it all out thanks :-)

    One thing worth mentioning about the footer.  If you change the News module to be in the middle, it keep the RSS graphic on the right side.  That is a bit odd.  I am still trying to figure out how to link to that RSS icon, just like the Facebook and Twitter icons.  Is that RSS icon supposed to be a link?

    Thanks for the timely response.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Ah, yes! With the Admin UI refresh that came into effect today, Theme Settings are a lot easier to get to now. I think it is a good improvement to separate them from the Theme Editor stuff.

    Anyways, to keep the RSS icon with the news, add "position: relative;" to the .latest-news rule in styles.css.liquid:

    #footer .latest-news {

        color:#5F5F5F;

        position:relative;

    }

    I actually think it might look better if the icon was to the left of the header. Do do this, open the latest-news-widget.liquid snippet and move the <a> tag inside the <h4> tag:

    <h4>

        <a href="/blogs/news.atom" title="Keep up to date with the latest {{ shop.name }} news">

            <img src="{{ 'rss\_16.png' | asset\_url }}" alt="Subscribe to our RSS Feed" class="rssfeed"/>

        </a>

        Latest News

    </h4>

    And change the CSS to this: #footer .rssfeed {float:left; margin-right:5px;}
