    Hi Jason,

    Most people go with a contact form service so while there is support for forms in the theme, the underlying form service will likely have their own styling that you edit using their tool.

    I did a round-up of the various contact form services a little while ago: http://www.shopifyconcierge.com/blogs/news/1159042-contact-forms-in-shopify

    I'm recommending JotForm these days, as Wufoo is now really difficult to embed.

    For reference, the code on the contact-us page in the demo is:

    <form class="form" action="/" method="post">

    <fieldset>

    <legend>Contact Form</legend>

    <p class="first">

        <label style="width: 60px;" for="name">Name</label>

        <input class="name" name="name" id="name" size="30" type="text">

    </p>

    <p>

        <label style="width: 60px;" for="email">Email</label>

        <input class="email" name="email" id="email" size="30" type="text">

    </p>

    <p>

        <label style="width: 60px;" for="web">Website</label>

        <input class="web" name="web" id="web" size="30" type="text">

    </p>

    <p>

        <label style="width: 60px;" for="message">Message</label>

        <textarea name="message" class="message" id="message" cols="30" rows="10"></textarea>

    </p>

    <p class="submit">

        <input type="submit" class="awesome" value="Send">

    </p>

    </fieldset>

    </form>

    Cheers, Gavin.

    Is there supposed to be a "contact us" page on the pages & blogs tab?  I don't have one.

    No, you need to create one - please see the first comment.

    Hello,

    I love Shopify! I wish there were a book for customizing a website using Liquid so I wouldn't have to ask so many questions:-)

    In the linked lists I changed the "Contact Us" and "About Us" link names to "Contact Letha" and "About Letha". The top-right of the home page shows the original names and when I click on them I get a "Page Not Found" message. How can I change the links for these items to their right locations?

    My website is letha-lynea.myshopify.com

    Thanks,

    Letha

    Hi Letha,

    No problem asking questions. I'm happy to help.

    You will need to create those pages. Go to the "Blogs & Pages" tab in Shopify admin and create the new pages.

    Cheers, Gavin.

    Gavin,

    The About Us and Contact Us pages already existed. I just gave them a different name. The problem is the handle for the About Us and Contact Us in the header did not update to my new handles, so they do not link to the correct page. I would imagine all that I need to do is give them the right handle. However, I can't seem to find them in the link lists or the html.

    Also, how do I add space between the images. I think I changed a value by mistake.

    In case you need it, my website is letha-lynea.myshopify.com

    Thanks!

    Letha

    Hi Letha,

    You can either delete the link and create it again, or change the handle. To change the handle go to the page and click the Edit button. You will see a field called Permalink/Handle

    Thanks, Gavin.

    Hey Gavin

    Thanks for the code to be used for the Contact Us section. It looks great.

    My only question is where do those submissions go and how can I get them to be sent to my e mail address?

    Thanks

    AJ

    Hi AJ,

    You need to sign up with a contact form service such as Mailchimp - there is a list here: http://www.shopifyconcierge.com/blogs/news/1159042-contact-forms-in-shopify

    Thanks, Gavin.

    You can now seamlessly add a contact from to your Shopify store by installing the new Contact Form app from the Shopify App Store:

    http://apps.shopify.com/contact-form

    Cheers!

    Hi Gavin,

    Could you please explain or expand on Letha's question on how to change or delete the links on the top right corner of the homepage. I changed the name of "About Us" to simply "About" on the navigation bar. However the "About Us" on the top right corner when clicked comes up as Not Found...which makes sense but I do not know how to access this page to change it or which direction to take.

    Can you please explain how to change the top right "ABout Us" to link to the "ABout" on the bar, and also how if one wanted to delete the "About Us" on the top right corner.

    Thank you,

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

    You can create a link list (under Navigation in Shopify Admin) called "Eyebrow Menu" to control the link names and where they link to. This is the easiest way to set up those links. Alternatively, you can edit theme.liquid and hard code them - look for "search-block".

    Thanks, Gavin
