    Hi Edward,

Vanity uses jQuery tools overlay - you can follow the instructions listed on their page: http://flowplayer.org/tools/overlay/index.html

I'd recommend looking at product.liquid to see how it works for the product page.

    Cheers, Gavin.

Right I actually got it implemented it wasn't as tough as I thought, but I do have 1 more problem that I do hope you can help with?

thats the blog post itself, the jquery once clicked, just aligns itself to the left very awkwardly and the close button hovers in the middle of it, I have tried my best to figure it out but no luck?

    Hi Edward,

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are getting layout errors I'd recommend ensuring the markup is valid: http://validator.w3.org/.

    Thanks, Gavin.

Ah sorry about that I fixed it, so you probably saw the done version. Everything seems quite good now.

One thing I did notice though, is how comes the jquery pop up appears below flash objects? I tried to make the z-index property to be lower that the overlay (set at 10000) but that didn't work. Not a biggie, just wondering

Hi gavin, I do have question I would like to ask, its a bit off topic

I noticed on the sample vanity theme preview, the menu drop down fades in, mine doesn't do that. I dont know if its because I have changed it by accident? Or maybe the version I bought didn't have that update? Could you direct me to where that chunk of code is? I tried snoopin in the style.css by the main menu hover bit, but nothing seemed to be related to the fade drop down menu on mouse hover

    Thanks

    Hi Edward,

jquery pop up appears below flash objects?

This is a known issue with flash: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15523.html

You need to add a wmode parameter.

Re the menu, check out http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/

    Thanks, Gavin.
