    Add ability to track the quantity of a group booking

    Hi Peter,

    Are you looking to have one booking associated with multiple people (and if so do you need to capture each person's name), or create a separate booking for each person?

    Hey Gavin. 

    Either would work, but only one name needs to be associated with the booking/s.

    For example, one booking that took up multiple places with the name "John Smith" would be preferable for cleanliness sake on the calendar, as long as it was obvious that the booking was for multiple people at a glance.

    Alternatively, a separate booking for each person under the same name would also work fine. This is what currently happens when someone buys online and increases the "quantity" of their booking.

    The main thing we're trying to avoid is having to enter more than one booking for a group if we're doing it manually. Essentially we're just after an extra field on the manual booking form on the calendar: So it'd be 'Product', 'Variant', 'Date/Time', 'Name', 'Email', 'Status' AND **'Number of people'. **If set to say '20' it would obviously take 20 spaces away from the total available spaces.

    Hi Peter,

    I've just pushed out a release that has a new field to the manual booking form - 'number in party'. This number is used in the capacity calculation. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Wow. That is some amazing customer service - booking groups now works great, thanks so much for sorting that out!

    One thing, it would be really handy if the new "Number in party" value you added also showed up on the calendar view and on the daily run sheets.
