    Hi Bill,

    Some good news. The Shopify App team are releasing a feature that will allow App developers the ability to integrate with the POS system. I'm not too sure of the exact details at this stage, other than they said it would be available in the next couple of months. I'll be keeping a close eye on this and as soon as it is available will be evaluating what we can do in terms of integration.

    I'm also extremely interested in this, my client needs to be able to sell classes and select those class dates on the POS. Are there any updates to this?

    I got in touch with Shopify and they said they have pushed back the date for this.

    I think the best thing to do is for everyone to contact Shopify and reference this discussion. I'm sure if they see enough demand it will get a higher priority.

    We're very interested in this also - supporting a Bike Rental shop, and based on the number of products (dozens of items available for rent) and the rental frequency (days or weeks) it's going to be a bit of a pain to manually sync / update retail POS customers with online / advance orders. Did not realize that the POS and Book That App were incompatible when we set things up.

    This is a critical feature that seems like it has been waiting since 2015... any updates on the release date?

    Hi Tyler

    There has been very little support from Shopify over the past year to support the POS API and we have been unable to get past some technical issues. Shopify has recently provided some additional support and we hope to revisit this project in the new year.

    Oh man. This may be a deal breaker for me. I was just setting up my products in BTA when I had this same thought. We NEED to be able to see bookings in the POS when we are in the store. Any word on this?
