    How can we send out a specific template for a specific event?

    Hi Michelle

    The app uses the Shopify order notification when the order is first placed and this cannot be customized by event as Shopify only supports one template.

    However, you can create a specific template for the specific event in BTA after the initial order confirmation and you would select this template or ticket to send out as a reminder.

    How do you create a Template? I would like to send an email after the event. Is there a place I can download Templates or an expert that can do this?

    Also - how do I view a copy of the email template I create?

    @Gary - If you are on the Premium Plan you can create a new template by going to the Templates page in the BTA Admin and clicking on the button called Add Template.  Once you have created your template you can click the Preview button to view it.

    Adding the ability to trigger an email on order creation is something that I find really important and it's frustrating that BTA can't do it. How do I request this as a future feature enhancement?

    The reason it's so important is that I'm paying for BTA to manage the ticketing process for classes (cooking classes). Shopify isn't managing the ticketing process (it doesn't manage quantity, doesn't produce tickets etc.). In my store on checkout from Shopify, a user can have a combination of normal retail items (that BTA doesn't manage) and classes that BTA does manage. The order confirmation that Shopify sends is purely one confirming items purchase and payment. What I need BTA to do is send a confirmation email with the ticket and terms specific to just those classes.

    BTA is the right spot to do this (I've got the template setup and ready to go), but it's just missing the trigger. I thought I maybe able to use the Email reminder functionality as a workaround but this isn't practical after delving into this further wtith the support team. Ideally i need a confirmation email upon order creation, and a reminder email 3 days out from the class.
