I using the Customer Pricing App (boldapps) to allow our Retailers to purchase a case (qty 10) at wholesale prices.
I have an individual product which comes in several colors (set up as variants). I have also set-up a separate product that represents a "Case" of qty 10 (we do not sell mixed color cases or individual items at wholesale pricing. The Customer Pricing App works as it is suppose to but I am having problems syncing the inventory (i.e., when someone orders a case for a qty of 10 to be removed from the individual product)
I have set up the individual product to have inventory managed by Shopify and then as per the instructions for bundles set up the case to NOT have shopify track inventory and then set-up a task to Synchronize Inventory and matched the Case Product (color) to the individual product (color). I first thought the "Multiplier" (can you please tell me what this is) was the quantity of the product but I tried this only ONE was taken from inventory instead of 10. I then just keep adding the same product/color (up to 10 - see attached image) but that didn't seem to work either.
I am also attempting a scenario of "allowing out of stock items" to be ordered (to act as a type of "pre-order") so I am not sure if this has anything to do with it...although a negative inventory is showing after processing the initial test.
I hope this makes sense. I am surprised that there is an easy to find solution that takes case qty out of the individual product inventory. I would think this is a common thing.
We are hoping to launch this week so I hope to have this figured out...can always do manually but ;-) Thanks for the help.
