Changes have been made to how the app loads allowing existing customers to increase the app's performance. This increased performance results in improved page loading speed. If you signed up for the app after March 1st, 2021 you won't need to make any changes.
Note- the method described in this article can only be used if you are using a widget.
Determining the Type of Booking Form
What type of booking form are you using? If you are not sure please review the following 2 examples.
The following link will direct you to a product using our appointment widget.
In contrast, the following link will direct you to a product page using a classic booking form.
Currently, widgets are available for all types of booking scenarios except those that require booking form 6 and accommodation bookings. If your booking scenario is supported by a widget we highly recommend using a widget over a classic booking form.
To make the switch to a widget please select the applicable guide from the following page.
This method is only applicable if you are using a widget. If you are not using a widget do not complete the following steps or you will encounter issues.
1. In the app you will select Installation.
2. Select the Booking forms tab.
3. Select the Disable booking form support button. If the button is already disabled it will display 'Enable booking form support'. In this case, you do not want to select it.
In short, this option allows the app to only load the specific code necessary for the widgets to function. As a result, the app performance is increased.
