Point of Sale (POS) Integration

BookThatApp offers a Shopify POS integration for merchants taking bookings in-store as well as online.  This new integration adds the full functionality of BookThatApp into your POS channel, allowing you to take bookings, view your calendar, create blackouts, and view reservations.

Adding BTA to your POS Channel

To add BTA to the Shopify POS channel, please do the following:

1. Log into your Shopify POS

2. Select Add tile.

3. Select App.

4. Select BTA.

5. Select the "Add" option for the app extension App link:

The BTA integration for Shopify is now complete. 

Creating a Booking via POS

The POS solution makes it easy to create a booking so you can create bookings via the POS cart. 

1. Select the BookThatApp Tile you've added to your POS app screen; 
2. Select the option of Create Booking;
3. Once you fill the boking infirmation and select Save you will be redirected to the POS cart screen and the booking will be present as a purchase item. 
4. Complete the order process as you normally would. 
5. Once the order process is complete an order will be created in Shopify and a booking will be created in the app. 

Note: In case you need to re-add a booking to the POS cart after removing it and if the dates/times are shown as unavailable for the new selection, you can use the checkbox option "Allow all dates/times" to select the same dates used previously.

What else with the BTA Point of Sale Integration?

The BTA Integration in POS serves as an extension of the app. With it, you can also access different sections of the app to help you manage your BTA bookings via POS directly.

To access the different pages, select the BTA Dropdown list at the top of the screen while browsing the BTA Tile. These are the same pages you would find in the standard version of the BTA app.
