Variant Actions

Overview:

This article will walk you through the Variant Actions functionality in the BTA product configuration screen.

This feature enables you to do the following;

• Assign unit values per variant to represent how many units to count towards total capacity.
• Or hide the booking calendar for a particular variant option. This is used if you're offering your product for both rental and purchase and hides the calendar for the purchase variant. See this demo.

Navigate in the app admin under "Services".

Select a product then click "Manage" under "Variant actions".

Under "Units", assign a value to represent how many units to count towards total capacity per booking.

Typically, this is set to 1 only unless you're offering multi-pack variant-level booking.  For example if you sell a two pack, the unit value would be 2.

Under "Hide", tick the checkbox to hide the booking calendar which will allow your customers to purchase your product by selecting the "for purchase" variant that you create in Shopify.
